Creating a Bucket List: Experiences to Add to Your Wish List

If you're feeling uninspired and need a little help coming up with ideas for your bucket list, why not ask the people who know you best? Ask your family, friends, or partner for suggestions on incredible goals or life experiences they think you should try. It could be anything from taking a pastry class to going on a road trip along Australia's Great Ocean Road. When you cross something off your wish list because you've completed it, you'll have a great sense of accomplishment and a collection of memories that will accompany that task. It's one thing to dream about all the things you'd like to do, but writing them down on your wish list makes you accountable. Don't rush through this process - take your time and really think about what you want to achieve.

Even if you don't usually like big cities, it's worth including them in your wish list. This is the perfect list to add items that are outside your comfort zone and things that you wouldn't normally do. Having a wish list and something to look forward to will keep you excited about life and ready to face tomorrow. There's always something else I want to work on, another place to see, another thing to do, or a milestone to achieve, and having my wish list helps me achieve my goals. One of the most unique places on Earth is the Dead Sea in Israel and Jordan - definitely worth adding to your bucket list! Other sources of inspiration include magazines, your favorite Facebook pages or groups, and the following wishlist hashtags on Instagram or Pinterest. When creating your wish list, remember that it should be a personal reflection of your goals and dreams.

Whether you want to create a travel list to go to Spain or prioritize your family and career, it's never too late to start pursuing your dreams and prioritizing your emotional well-being. Your wish list should be based on what YOU want to do - not just other people's dreams and achievements. Even if you don't usually drink wine, this is one example of an experience everyone should have. I (for one) love enjoying my hometown, Boston, even if it's not on most people's wish lists. I've been to China twice and visited a variety of modern sights and cultural attractions, but this bucket list idea has escaped me so far.
